Indigenous communities continue the vital work of preserving, revitalizing, and strengthening their languages for future generations while supporting the academic success of Native students. The Indigenous Language Education Institute brings together educators, advocates, school leaders, and community members to explore the policies, programs, and practices shaping Indigenous language education.

Join us for a day of learning, dialogue, and collaboration with Indigenous language leaders and educators as they share their work in advocacy, teacher preparation and regulations, Indigenous dual language programs, and efforts to build sustainable language programs within schools and communities—all centered on strengthening Indigenous languages and ensuring they thrive for generations to come.
